Paid maternity and paternity leave is available after 90 days.* **Retirement contributions from CHP** — Our **403(b) retirement plan** includes a 3% company contribution whether you contribute or not, plus an additional match of up to 2% — for up to **5% total employer contribution**. **To learn more about CHP's employee benefits, please click this link**** What You'll Do* Diagnose and complete routine and moderately complex repairs across building systems* Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner* Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections* Maintain the appearance and functionality of buildings, grounds, and common areas* Complete apartment turnovers within established timelines* Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance issues* Assist with vendor and contractor coordination as needed* Maintain accurate work order documentation using mobile maintenance software* Follow all safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and company policies## What You'll Bring* **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience required.* **Technical Skills:** Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairs, and use of maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and mobile work order systems.* **Problem-Solving**: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues and complete repairs efficiently.* **Independence:** Ability to work independently, prioritize work orders, and manage multiple tasks effectively.* **Customer Service:** Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to excellent resident service.* **Transportation**: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.* **Education & Certifications:** High school diploma or equivalent and relevant trade training or certifications preferred.## ***Make a Difference Every Day!***At CHP, your work helps create safe, quality homes for individuals and families across our communities.
